What make a good global citizen?

“A global citizen” is new phrase in society in Viet Nam. Who is called a global citizen? That is the person have some nationality, they travel a lot for their work, also use their knowledge, their money, their ability to help people who are unlucky, who are poor in life. Thank to their help, the society problems would be dealt quickly and effectively, the government reduces the burden on their shoulder a little. They have an important role in life. What need to supply to become a good global citizen? They are wide knowledge; sympathy, respect, responsibility, awareness, equality; and warm heart.
Initial condition to become a global citizen is you must be broad human being. It means that you have to travel a lot to know more people and more knowledge. Thus, when you visited the sound of Vietnam you can recognize the people’s customs and many typical activities there. For example, you can see that people in the sound are very friendly, they willing to share everything to you whenever you want; they would like to sing “vọng cổ” when they drunk with friends after finished their work in the afternoon. When you visit some countries over the sea, you can observe many things such as when you come to Brazil you can enjoy Canival and see many wonderful color costumes, or when you come to England you will see the thick yellow cloud of smoke industries, etc. The more you see, the more knowledgeable you are. In addition, you have to study a lot. It means that you must study every where, any time such as when you read a book you have to take note the valuable information not just for fun or kill the time; when you go abroad and see many things in these places, you should experience many things, and remember its culture after that you make it become your private knowledge. Travelling and studying will help you become a broad human being that help you a lot to become a good global citizen.
Next, sympathy, respect, responsibility, awareness, equality are 5 compulsory requirements to become a citizen. First, you have to sympathize and respect with every people. It is not easy to do because every people have some prejudice with some people and some work they do. For example, a drug addict come home after being reformatory, and he want to rejoin normal live. However, he can not because of prejudice of people around him. Is that terrible with him? Why do not we try to understand his story, his reasons and help him comes back to his live. To delete our prejudice you and I must understand people, help and forgive them. That is sympathy can bring to us, and when you sympathize you will respect people around you. Being sympathy and respect make people close together. Second is awareness and equality. They are really necessary qualities. Thus, while you know the thinking of people, how they feel, what their pains are and your pains are, you will know how to do to help people who are poor money and spirit without any exclusive right. At that time, you bring to them hope in future life also belief in heart of humanness. Being responsibility is the last requirement, it is not the least important one. Of course, make sure that you know exactly what you need do to help others, how to do it, and repair it carefully. I sure that if you are enough responsible in what you do, its result will come in perfect. The effects of the compulsory qualities are what a global citizen should bring to difficulty people.
A broad human being with 5 qualities is not good enough to make you become a good citizen. The most important is your “warm heart”. It means that you must bring your knowledge and qualities out, and use your energy, motive power to help people who you do not know any thing about them. In fact that, many people just use their abilities to earn much money, reaching for their higher position, deny caring about the soreness problems in society. These people can be called global citizen, they are just the rich. Otherwise, we can see other people who have the same abilities use all their love to help the unlucky, poor people to make our better day by day; they are good global citizen. Thus, when people have enough passion, and truly love they can overcome easily the troubles which they have to face with while they do the global citizen’s job to make it more meaningful.
In our country, I and you might have many differences on the way to become a good global citizen such as the geography conditions, economic conditions, or health conditions, etc. If you are in the same condition like this, you should not worry about the way to be a global citizen because you could update the newest information around the world to enrich yourself, and help your neighborhoods. Although you can not go many places as the others, you can be a global citizen with all your responsibility, respect, equality, awareness, sympathy and your warm heart. Let’s be a global citizen in our country.

Students’ life in the context of increasing price.

Having many students in colleges or universities spend a lot of money on their fashion clothes, their big parties, bars, pubs, etc. They have just spent their time, their money for no purpose without thinking about money, and concentrating on their studying while others try their best to overcome many difficulties in life to reach their goals. One of the biggest problems which students have to face is high inflation. Hence, high inflation leads to many problems in students’ life such as: dropping school early, students’ standard of living is decreasing, moral is being badly.
The first consequence of inflation is making student drop school early. As you see, money is lost its value in each day while every thing is increasing rapidly in fraction of second, so the life totally becomes harder and harder, especially students’ life, which depend on their parents’ finance whose incomes is not increase at all. Therefore, the parents are less likely to support enough money for the students’ life. With this fixed mount of money for each month, students have to think a lot of ways to spend their money reasonable, but every thing is more expensive than before so that lacking of conditions of life and studying are not exceptional. Lacking books, materials, and equipments that help students study better will lead to the bad result in their studying, even though it so bad that school must force them leave their school earlier. Another reason involves high inflation make students drop school is losing their motivation. How they can concentrate on studying while every day immediately when they wake up they think about money. Indeed, when money becomes the most important objective, they think and find the ways to get money instead of concentrating on interesting, necessary knowledge, so the goals of studying will be losing. Thus, day by day the result of studying will fail, quitting school would be absolutely happened in a short next time.
The second consequence of inflation is the step-down of standard of living in students’ life. Let see some comparisons between the past and now. In the past, with 20000 VND student could buy enough meat and vegetable for their meal, but now they just can buy a haft of those amount. The cost of staying is increasing about 1.5 time include the cost of renting room, the cost of electricity and water. Bus ticket cost 3000 vnd before; 4000 vnd now. Petrol is nearly 20000 vnd per litter more than before 2000 vnd. Let count money that student spend one month, 8 hundred thousand vnd for food, 5 hundred thousand for renting room, 2 hundred thousand for transport. It is 1.5 million vnd, it is exactly fixed with the money coming from parent, so student must spend very carefully. Although students can live with this amount of money, the quality of life is worse than before because the quantity of necessary thing is less than in the past. Therefore, they easily lack of nutritive, blood, and get many sick such as: gastralgia, fag, etc. The more they are mean the worse health they get. Moreover, even if they can prevent themselves from sick, and graduated, but their health are not good as same as before, they can not work good enough to satisfied boss to get high salary to support their life. As a result, the standard of life is continuous low.

The third consequence I want to mention is the moral in students’ life is not beautiful as in the past. First, when the price is not high, people willing to share every thing: books, food, bus ticket, but right now they do not share small thing, they go dutch at the coffee shop even though that girl is his girlfriend, or do not dare to give a little bit money for beggars who can not work to get money to live. Next, some students absent from class for doing part time job, so when having a test they were cheating or asking friend. Another situation is students slept in class because of tired, they made so loud sound that other can not concentrate, and the teacher was not happy to tough continuous. Furthermore, some students who spend too much money for their fun, can not earn money by themselves, and their parents could not support enough money for them, will do some thing badly to get money to wasting. They steal money from their families, or they rob money, treasure from people around as a robber, buying sex even though storing and buying drugs just for money.
To sum up, high inflation leads to many serious troubles in students’ life as I show you , remember that money is very important but not every thing at all. People make money, money can not control people. Therefore, we can overcome this trouble if we know how to manage their budget, arrange time reasonable for doing part-time job, do believe enough in life.

Some months ago, my parents gave me, a student who can not earn money by myself , 1.2 million VND for a month, but right now with this amount of money I can not support my life, even though my life is became more frugal. Every thing needs more money to buy while money is becoming more difficult to earn. Money is lost its valuable. People’s life is harder and harder, especially students’ life. Increasing price certainly leads to many bad effects on students’ life.
Contrast:
All most people think that student who are the happiest people and always get the most comfortable in life because what they do during learning time is studying, spending money, sleeping, and relaxing without thinking any problems. In contrast with this thought, now day students have to face with many problems, especially high inflation because they themselves can not earn money to support their life. Money is losing its value while any thing needs more money to buy. Obviously, student must be dealt with many big serious problems.
